We recently received a contract with a Toronto-area technology company. To further advance our corporate objectives, we have an opening for a Solutions Specialist (Sales) to join our small, but mighty team on a part-time or full-time, contract basis. You will be tasked with conducting sales meetings with prospects who have shown interest in our products or services. This position reports directly to the CEO and is a 100% commission-only role. Paid 5-day orientation/training is provided.
Solutions Specialist (Sales) Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual and in-person sales meetings with managers, directors and executives
- Coordinating the sales team and assisting with recruiting and training new hires
- Providing product demonstrations to staff and clients, and taking the lead in resolving complaints
- Analyzing sales performance and scheduling training/refresher sessions accordingly
- Setting sales targets and implementing strategies to reach the targets
- Work with excel spreadsheets, Microsoft, outlook, powerpoint, web browser and adobe reader
- Research and implement new technology solutions including a CRM software, email marketing opportunities, and a company blog
Solutions Specialist (Sales) Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED (preference for post-secondary in marketing, business, technology or similar)
- 2-3 years of sales or marketing experience
- Excellent customer service and leadership skills
- Strong networking abilities
- Ability to diagnose problems and find solutions
- Strong degree of diplomacy and the ability to work with a range of different people
- Quiet working environment (home office)
- Your own laptop/notebook
- Headset with noise-cancellation

As our Solutions Specialist (Sales) you have the flexibility to work from your home office or out of the Atrium (in St. Thomas). You are required to attend the full 5-day orientation/training in St. Thomas. The next training date is June 26th-30th.
This can be a part-time or full-time (on-demand) role. You must be available for sales meetings during business hours (we recommend 11am-7pm ET). The frequency of your sales meetings is based on the demand from clients.
