CEO Moments: Logged In #1

The past two or three weeks have been very tough times; however, through my optimistic outlook and positive perspective, I’m able to see the silver lining through all the events that have happened.

As some of you may know, the month of May was Asian Heritage Month and let me tell you, there was much contribution on my part towards the Asian Heritage Month narrative. I’ll refrain from sparking on personal subject matters as I don’t want to step on any toes, but let’s just say, a very personal event turned out to be a great marketing piece to help me launch my corporate project.

More recently, in the month of June, I was met with more challenges as I attempted to keep the momentum of Teraproject moving. It seemed Murphy’s Law was at work though and everything that could go wrong did just that. However, once again, through the challenges I was able to hang onto the glimmer of hope that each twist and turn brought my way.

The business contract that initially inspired Teraproject ended up getting terminated by the other party. With their words being that I could re-establish the contract at any time, perhaps when I’m more ready to commit to sales, I was at odds with their decision. It’s true though, my entire process had been diminished so much so that I was ready to give up on everything that was keeping me standing.

Perhaps it was from the insult from law enforcement to overlook the events that was the actual start of Teraproject and the Justice of the Peace ordering an ambulance for me to get evaluated by an attending physician at the hospital. Needless to say, I have opted instead to keep focus with an enthusiastic attitude.

Despite the setback with the termination of the contract, I worked to establish more partnerships so that Teraproject could keep moving. We had already partnered with over 25 brands and I worked frivolously to establish more relevant partnerships that would take this project over the top.

We had Lenovo onboard, although the next stage of our partnership has been delayed. Next up, we established two different partnerships with Amazon. The dark clouds hanging overhead, was now nothing but wisps of hope. I even met with a representative from Zoom to discuss the logistics of their services and our game plan. There has been a lot of meetings and discussions.

Then last week, I was fortunate enough to connect with a representative from a company based in the UK. During that meeting, we determined that their services just wasn’t exactly what we were looking for; however, the agent expressed interest in forming a partnership. Truth be told, I fell ill with some minor symptoms and missed the partnership meeting, but we have another meeting scheduled for later this week. I’m curious to see where this partnership in the UK can take us. Our goal is to keep the momentum going.
